Classes Abound at Alliance for the Arts C

Additional classes without the Try It Free option include Thinking Creatively II, from 7 to 8 p.m. on four consecutive Wednesdays, beginning February 8; and Stress Detox Zone in a Natural Setting, from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesdays, from February 14 through March 6.

Monarch Therapy in Naples Expands

o celebrate its transformative growth into a holistic healing center, Mon- arch Therapy, LLC, is hosting an open house from 4 to 8 p.m., February 24. Founder Kimberly Rodgers, a licensed clinical social worker and registered


play therapist-supervisor, notes that the practice now offers more services to empower children, adolescents and adults to “transform, emerge and become,” through emotional and behavioral metamorphosis. In addition to adding yoga classes and massage therapy to its professional counseling and play therapy, the Naples prac- tice has teamed up with behavioral consultant Jill Emmerich, a board-certified assistant behavior analyst. Emmerich offers onsite applied behavior analysis of challenging individual or group behaviors; treatments utilizing positive approaches to improve problem solving, communication, and skill develop- ment; and parent and organization training and support. Also on staff is Hannah Waterman, MSW, a registered clinical social work intern who specializes in resolving stress, anxiety and trauma and assisting with adjustment to life transitions.
