We sampled this dram at the Royal Highland Show and Scone Game Fair this year and it went down a treat with our readers. A fantastic easy drinking dram at a superb price. Glen Garioch claims to be the oldest distillery in Scotland and is situated in the town of Oldmeldrum. This non chill filtered whisky delivers toffee and peaches on the palate.”

This bottling has layers of flavours – fruit, spice, malt and peat smoke all wrapped in a rich sherry blanket. Add a little water, sit back and reminisce on the good old days.”

NOMINATED BY Scottish Field ABV 46% REGION Island “Toffee apples and vanilla ice cream in a glass. A delightful dram from the independent distillery on Arran. The 10 year old was launched in 2006 and has been gaining momentum ever since.”
