The Cwm Gwyrdd Medical Centre in Gilfach Goch opened for use in October 2008. A rigorous pursuit of a sustainable solution is much in evidence and the building was awarded the 2009 Building Better Health Care awards for Best Sustainable Design and Best Estate Strategy in Primary Care.
