Leading value-added panel and timber distributor James Latham, is now offering Shinnoki, a range of ready to use veneered panels that are supplied already stained and lacquered, requiring no further finishing. The veneer is applied to an MDF base, rendering the panels sturdy and easy to use. In addition, Shinnoki is produced in both a single or double sided finish, with the first having a reverse side in either white or dark melamine. Due to the comprehensive range, interior designers are finding Shinnoki offers almost limitless application options. Matching edge bandings are available in several widths and lengths and the 16 Shinnoki designs are supplied in separate 3- ply veneer sheets, perfect for doors or other interior requirements. What’s more, eight of the Shinnoki designs incorporate the brand’s range of veneered flooring (PAR-KY). Using the ‘mixmatch’ jointing technique, whereby wood veneer of different trees and various grain patterns are matched, consistency both in appearance and product quality are continually
achieved without losing any of the unique natural aspects of wood. All nine Latham’s panel sites offer the Shinnoki collection directly from stock in thicknesses of 19 mm and in a board size of 2790 x 1240. installed at O2 HQ Having successfully completed the installation of their ceiling system on phase one of the 02 headquarters building in Slough, three more Hunter Douglas linear ceiling system products have now been installed as part of the extension project, which includes the building and construction of a new link building to
unite the different elements. For phase two the Hunter Douglas products specified were the Solid Wood Linear Open 111mm module Western Red Cedar, Linear Closed 111mm module in European Oak and the External Linear Open Western Red Cedar 111mm module.
