buyers gallery In pursuit of perfection
Every interiors project presents its own questions and challenges. Each requires a trip back to the drawing board in search of the fixtures, fittings, furnishings and accessories that will make the end result the perfect interpretation of the client’s dreams and desires. And no matter how many projects you complete, how broad your knowledge base, there will always be a gem of a product hiding just
around the corner – and finding it means the difference between a good and a great finish. 1 3

1. Seaside themed fabrics By Prestigious Textiles
Timed perfectly to catch the current craze for all things nautical, Prestigious Textiles has launched its new Westward Ho! and Maritime fabric collections. ‘Westward Ho!’ cotton panama prints reflect the enduring enthusiasm for seaside themes by depicting harbour scenes, a marine collage, seabirds and shoreline treasures, all complemented by nautical stripes. The four pictorial designs are in an evocative and faintly nostalgic watercolour style, with the collection offered across colourways of Cobalt, Denim, Duck Egg, Azure, Seaspray, Linen and Driftwood, together with a Vintage medley. The stripes continue into the company’s new ‘Maritime’ series of woven cottons. Ideal for curtains or blinds, this jaunty combination of classic ticking, deckchair stripes, ginghams and plains looks as good in the garden room or conservatory as it does in the kitchen and family area. Prestigious has created a range of cheery shades for ‘Maritime’: denim, red, aqua, azure and lilac contrast with the more subtle olive, linen, charcoal and limestone. 2. PAD informal public seating By Ryan
PAD is a new range of informal public seating from Ryan, designed to make it easier for people to mingle in public spaces. Moving away from the usual closed group arrangements of public seating, such as paired sofas in a foyer or chairs arranged around tables, with PAD, the tables are arranged around the seats. More seats create open links to other tables, forming chains or clusters. This avoids people becoming isolated by formal seating arrangements. The Pad range comes in a variety of sizes of seating and tables with a wide range of colour and material options for both seating and tables. Ryan has been manufacturing furniture at its factory in the UK since 1987. For more information telephone 0044 1427 677 556 or email

3. The Brass Bateau By Catchpole & Rye
Catchpole & Rye specialise in creating beautiful cast iron baths with the same pouring techniques their foundry has been using in Kent for over 100 years. This autumn Catchpole & Rye launch the Brass Bateau, a bath designed to accommodate bathrooms that require a richer and more vibrant look. This light-weight bath is suitable for all bathrooms and is particularly fitting for the hotel market weighing in at 40kg. It is an exact replica of an original bath which was designed and manufactured in France around 1890. For more information visit
