Some more old fashioned


entertainment here. These three pictures show


a travelling piano by the look of it. It appears to be a fundraising activity for a local fi rework display - obviously these pictures were taken around late October or early November. The top picture looks to


have been taken near the cross. We love the old fashioned road sign to the right hand side of the picture. We assume the photos


below document its trundle through the town. We wonder if the piano would have been played to draw attention to the fund raising activities or if it


purely served for intrigue? It is funny to note that at the ʻOld Town Partyʼ in Banbury recently a mobile piano trundled up and down Parsonʼs Street entertaining the crowds - we wonder where he got the idea?
