ith several large festivals taking place over the same weekend, Middleton Music Festival was very well attended with over a thousand music lovers enjoying the event. The festival, which a few years ago was in danger of folding, was rescued by organisers Andy Taylor and Jonny Ruffle. Headlining the event were local rock band Leatherat, although top class performers were on show throughout the day, including favouites Bushfield Smith and Ian Bramble and The Banned.
