A Very Different Education

We say that “ERS is a school especially for the child who can benefit from additional support”. This means delivering the best possible education for each child whilst providing them with a genuinely supportive framework that will help them to achieve their full potential.

We are an inclusive school, welcoming children with a wide range of abilities and from all cultures and faiths. We believe that learning should be enjoyable and holistic – so it is about preparing each child for life after school, as well as for academic subjects and examinations.

Our aim is always to see what we can do for your child – and then to work with our resources and your support so that we can help them be successful. Our input can be for the child’s whole school career through to GCSE or simply on an interim basis to help re-focus their progress, depending on their needs.

You are most welcome to visit the school to see if you think our approach would be right for your child.
