one could say that Biffo had an easy life. He was not a big
bear, but a very cuddly one with a huge heart. Yet somehow he found himself in the freezing cold, alone and abandoned.
Biffo had always believed in fairy tales knowing them to be true from personal experience. He also knew that not every fairy tale had a happy ending, yet he still hoped on hope that somehow his tale would end happily.
Biffo could not believe his eyes when he looked upon the beautiful face of what must surely be his fairy god mother (FGM). This FGM picked him up from the snow and took him to her castle to thaw and warm up. He was to learn her name was Anne Manley of Rochester Way, but not before he had been given a thorough washing and cleaned up.
Anne had contacted a local scribe who spread the word of about the unfortunate Biffo. The scribe sought to find a princess to play with Biffo and care for him.
So it was to pass that the word went out across the kingdom of Eltham that a waif bear had be found and was looking for a new home.
The scribe was beseeched by many and not being sure who was best, asked the good and wise citizens of the realm of Eltham to help him decide.
The good citizens of Eltham reviewed all that had applied to take care of Biffo and in a landslide majority decided it should be princess Elsbeth of the house of Bradley.
So it came to pass that princess Elsbeth and her mother Sharon Bradley were to meet with Shannon, daughter of Anne. Anne unfortunately was unable to attend but sent her best wishes in a pleasant card.
"He is quite nice, soft and cuddly" said princess Elsbeth "He will be a good team mate for my other bear".
Shannon Manley daughter of Anne said "He was in such a sorry state when FGM Anne (mum) found him. We have grown accustomed to him sitting in the kitchen and will be sorry to see him go, but now we have met princess Elsbeth we know he is going to someone who will love him"
Princess Elsbeth with her family were moving that very next day to a new castle in Glenhouse Road, which promises to be a very happy home and wonderful outcome for Biffo.
And so ends our tale of Biffo, Anne and Elsbeth on a very happy note.
