Association hosted a fundrais- er Sunday (Feb. 20) as more than 65 guests were treated to a Chinese New Year theme. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Perkins of the Reems Creek Golf commu-
nity hosted the event. Guests enjoyed sushi from
Asheville’s Zen Sushi, noodles and dessert from Well-Bred Bakery in Weaverville and wine from Maggie B’s in Weav- erville.
A traditional Lion Dance was
presented to create good luck for all the attendees. Ed Lee used fortune sticks to predict fortunes for guests as well. The next quarterly fundrais- er is scheduled for May 22.
