First-time exhibitor Oat Cosmetics is displaying its range of oat-based natural active ingredients under their “Heal and Repair” and “Maintain Good Skin Health” principles. The company works in partnership with Ceapro Inc., a biotechnology company based in Edmonton, Canada specialising in ‘green’ extraction technology for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical markets. In addition, Oat Cosmetics also works closely with Polar Glucan Oy, based in Finland, who are leaders in advanced cereal milling, processing and separation technologies suitable for cosmetic applications. Working alongside Ceapro, Oat Cosmetics has launched a range of sophisticated oat
ingredients which demonstrate measured activity, whilst retaining the provenance, traceability and safety profile that certified natural products must maintain.
I.R.A. is presenting Trico-Hyal, an innovative anti-ageing active ingredient made from polyphenols and polynucleotides. Trico-Hyal stimulates hair growth, improves cellular integrity thanks to its anti-oxidant action and reconstructs the structure of the hair. Trico-Hyal is the result of the Hyalu-Cage System®
: an idea to use
cross-linked hyaluronic acid as a slow release of cosmetic active ingredients.
The Hyalu-Cage System is based on the creation of an HA cage which encloses the active ingredient. This technology allows the creation of gels of hyaluronic acid with different degrees of reticulation (cross-linking) and consequently with variable mesh sizes or “cages” dimension.

Codif is launching Pink Pepperslim, a slimming oil derived from Brazilian Pepper with powerful lipolytic properties, and NEUROLIGHT.61 G, a Neuro-Active ingredient to treat dark spots. Pink Pepperslim stops the transformation of small lipid droplets into larger ones and decreases the cellular protection of fat storage. These preliminary actions strengthen its lipolytic activity to release up to +1000% of fatty acids. This fat burning action is completed by an activation of microcirculation, thus favouring the elimination of waste. This spicy concentrated slimming oil handles adipocytes to stimulate centimetric losses on waist, hips and thighs for women and on stomachs for men. Elucidation by the Codif International Laboratories of the role of the
neuropeptide Substance P in the export of melanin, effectively represents a new investigative approach into the treatment of hyperpigmentation. At the same time, a better understanding of the role played by cellular stress in the formation of these spots enables pigment overproduction to be neutralised in these localised areas.
