TOYOBO Co. Ltd. is a newcomer to cosmetics, and is glad to bring three raw materials to the market. We would like to announce the launch of three products at in-cosmetics 2011; AminoPGALE, SurfMellow and Phytopolyamine. These materials can be produced by the fermentation of microorganisms and/or plant extract. TOYOBO has about 130 years of history and produces fibres, chemicals, films, membranes, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics products and enzymes. AminoPGALE is a hydrophilic humectant: poly-gamma-L-glutamic acid from halophilic archaebacteria. SurfMellow is a hydrophobic ceramide-like glycolipid: mannosyl erythritol lipid from plant yeast. Phytopolyamine is a anti-aging agent: wheat germ extract containing polymamines.
