Sustainable Beauty is the theme running through this year’s industry trends presentations and it is also the subject of in-focus, the central feature


at in-cosmetics. The trends presentations run over the three show days, featuring representatives from leading market research agencies and consultancies. Included as part of the trends presentations programme will be two round table discussions on the subject of sustainability within the cosmetics and toiletries industry. A new addition for the 2011 show is the Innovation Zone Best Ingredient Awards, which will recognise the three most exciting new ingredients displayed in the Innovation Zone. The ceremony takes place on the first show day at 18.00 when the Cosmetics & Toiletries R&D Awards will also be presented.

The market for personal care ingredients is expected to recover quickly as the economy comes out of the recession, with anticipated annual volume growth of 2.6% until 2014.
