Dear Equestrian Life and Planet Horse I would like to nominate my mum Morag McNaughton
I would like to take this opportunity to say a very special thank you to my mum, Morag McNaughton, for all her help and support with my horses over many years. Right up until the day before her hip replacement operation earlier this month Mum has mucked out and helped me out in the stables and at competitions for very many years. This would be a lovely opportunity to thank her as well as cheer her up now she is housebound.
In all weathers Mum has mucked out, groomed and cared for my horses, enabling me to work full time and progress in my career as well as compete on a regular basis in showjumping competitions. Without her I would not have the wonderful memories of times spent with my horses.
As District Commissioner of the local Pony Club for several years Mum
also gave up her time to help and encourage many others with their ponies. A BS judge for many years
Mum has regularly supported many shows on the local and County circuit.
Horses have been a large part of Mum’s life and her enthusiasm, knowledge, help & support have enabled me to enjoy many horsey
activities which otherwise would not have been possible. It would be a lovely surprise for her to receive a special “Thank you” with the help of Planet Horse.
Thank you, Sally McNaughton
