Caistor hunter Trials saw a great turn out of competitors and spectators on a bright October day at Caistor Equestrian Centre.
These autumn Hunter Trials are held in aid of Leukaemia research, and by kind permission of Mr D Sinclair the course runs over his land which consists of over 150 fences catering for all standards of horse and rider. This course offers a great

introduction for novice horses and ponies and their riders to the sport of Hunter Trials whilst at the same time providing fences for the more seasoned riders and their mounts. The course designer Fiona Lundy, was careful to create a course that was fun and challenging, yet achievable and satisfying. Yet again the water complex sponsored by Boyers Industrial Turning Services proved to be a source of excitement creating a great atmosphere.
The organiser of the event Fiona Lundy was delighted with the turnout, which was greatly assisted by the favourable dry and sunny weather conditions. She was extremely grateful to her grandfather for hosting the event and also to the sponsors for their support. Her thanks and gratitude are extended to all of the volunteers without whose help the event could not go ahead. A great team effort produced a thrilling and enjoyable day for all!
