As your president this year, I would like to speak for the entire Bay Area Builders Association membership in thanking all who participated in our luncheons, board activities, support functions and community involvement. You made it enjoyable for us all and we appreciate your personal connection with our group of builders, and the professional relationships we have built for the benefit of our industry. A huge voice of gratitude is lifted up by us as we say thanks and look forward to 2011 for a great and prosperous future.
2010 BABA Board: I sure appreciate the hard work and the great attitude with which you served. You were an inspiration to me and to all the participants who are under our banner. You guys are AWESOME!
Speakers: Thanks to the many speakers and terrific programs for an informational and uplifting year. Speakers included sports figures, politicians, heroes and even some SMART guys in our industry. We say, “thanks!”

Accomplishments: Together we’ve really accomplished a lot this year. For example, we were able to give back to our community through the efforts and leadership of “Operation Finally Home” and to assist in the building of houses for injured U.S. Marines. Our networking events were well attended, and a good time for all. The
2010 golf tournament was a tremendous success because we have fantastic associates and sponsors whose generosity is deeply appreciated. I’ve said it before, but we owe so much to our sponsors and the wonderful associates whose giving spirit betters our industry. We appreciate you!
Casino Night & BABA Installation Banquet: Thank you all for coming to our last event of the BABA calendar year. It was a great night for saying thanks for all the work the board has accomplished, passing out a few awards and relaxing in the festive spirit of the holidays. As I pass the baton to our incoming president Phil Messarra and his new board, I want to say thank you for allowing me to serve. It has been an honor.
About the Bay Area Builders Association: BABA is a council of professional builders and remodelers who meet in the southern part of the Houston area. We are the industry leaders in our field. We gather as a group of successful professionals to share information and build relationships. We challenge each other to incorporate best practices in our businesses and all of our interaction with the “work-a-day world” we live in. We “love” our associates who are the support and encouragement to our council. Our next meeting will be in February of 2011 and we meet at the Friends Church in Friendswood, Texas.
