ing company in Western North Carolina, is holding auditions for membership from 1 pm to 4 pm on Sept. 26 at the Mars Hill Bap- tist Church. Auditions are open to actors ages 12 - 18 who are serious about acting. Come prepared with a 90-second monologue. As a part of First Stage Youth Teatre, Class Act Players (CAP)

was established in 2008 to allow young artists who are passionate about theatre to explore the craft of theatre and to develop their skills in an accelerated, advanced way. CAP performs and studies materials ex- ploring theatre in all of its diver- sity; from Shakespeare to modern productions. CAP performs at a variety of venues and community events.

Tis is not an audition for a sin-

gle play. Tis is an audition for a long-term project involving multi- ple performances in the actor’s time with the company. CAP members learn all aspects of running and managing an acting company. Go to classactplayers.org for more

information and audition forms. Tis special to the Tribune.
