Labor Day book sale Te Weaverville Library Friends will hold their annual Labor Day week-
end used book sale from 10 am to 3 pm on Saturday (Sept. 4) on the lower level of the Weaverville Library. Fiction and non-fiction will be divided into various categories as well

Vance Masonic Lodge fundraiser
Vance Masonic Lodge will be holding its annual open house awards
night barbecue fundraiser at 6 pm on Sept. 18 at the lodge’s headquar- ters on Old Mars Hill Highway. Te lodge will be presenting the 25-, 50-, and 60-year awards along
