Graff Diamonds’ Delaire Lodge launches Facilities include a 25m heated swimming pool with decking sourced from renewable materials
Graff Diamonds International (GDI) has revealed the latest property in its South African portfolio, the Delaire Graff Lodge and Spa. T e property – comprising 10 lodges and
the spa – is located in a vineyard estate at the crest of the Helshoogte Mountain Pass, near Cape Town’s two wine districts of Stel- lenbosch and Franschoek. T e spa, which is also open to day visitors
to the estate, consists of four treatment rooms, a heated pool, sauna, steamroom and gym. T e product houses are Aromatherapy Asso- ciates, Mama Mio and Swiss Perfection.

David Collins Studio using locally sourced materials. Meanwhile, local horticulturist Keith Kirsten designed and landscaped the estate gardens to soothe the senses and com- plement the surrounding environment. The architects for the property, Palm
Architects from France, took special care to plan a spa that would minimise electrical consumption and save water. In addition, it used natural, renewable materials such as stone and wood throughout. The founder of GDI, Laurence Graff, acquired the Delaire wine estate in 2003.

A fi sh therapy spa called Aqua Sheko has arrived in Kensington, London, UK. Reportedly the fi rst of its kind to open in
the capital, the spa specialises in ‘fi sh pedi- cures’. It features eight tanks of water which are home to garra rufa – a species of omniv- orous carp that feed on dead skin cells. Founder of Aqua Sheko, Karen Ho, says: “Fish therapy is an enjoyable and relaxing
