Programme STRUCTURE

Each course is multi-disciplinary and comparative, most are available on either a part-time or full-time study basis and some as distance learning, though courses do vary. The academic staff : student ratio of 1:6 means that students receive personal support during their time at the University.

The work of the International Development Department (IDD) is focused on poverty reduction through the development of effective governance

systems. Research is supported by a range of funders such as ESRC, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), and other multilateral and bilateral aid agencies.
