Airsigna was established in 1986. The company is working with the design and development of cabin lighting for use in civil and military aircraft. In 1995 the company was bought by Page Aerospace Limited and in 2006 the Page Group was incorporated into the Hamilton + Sundstrand Corporation and now benefits from the commercial, technical and financial support from being part of a larger group. Airsignas capabilities include research, design, development, manufacture, qualification, and certification of aircraft lighting products. LED lighting was introduced in 1995 to improve reliability, power consumption and eliminate costly maintenance resulting from bulb changing.
