The micus-stretcher is a Mobile Intensive Care Unit. With the micus-stretcher patients that require advanced life support can be moved from "bed to bed" without having to change between different stretchers and medical devices when for example moving from a road ambulance to a fixed wing aircraft or from a fixed wing aircraft to a rotary wing aircraft. Since patients can be moved without disruption of life-sustaining treatment, the risks to the patient health is substantially minimized. The micus-stretcher is flight certified.
