Winn & Coales (Denso) Ltd, better known for Denso Tape, a unique product that’s a versatile, multi- purpose mastic sealing compound in tape form, used for sealing, waterproofing and corrosion pre- vention, celebrated 80 years of supply of that product in 2009. Now, in 2010 Winn & Coales are celebrating another milestone for one year of their key brands. ‘Tok- strip’ is a leading box culvert, manhole and ring chamber sealant and this year it is celebrating 50 years of service to the building industry. Tokstrip is a rubber bitu- men compound with a built in tree
roof inhibitor which solves the old problem of sealing precast concrete sections, which, prior to this was messy, time consuming and prone to leaking. Tokstrip solved these problems by offering a strong, flexible waterproof and long-lasting seal and was readily ac- cepted, being specified and utilised by all areas of the market from the concrete pipe manufacturers civil engineers and drainage contractors through to house builders.

Palace Chemicals Ltd will feature two distinct product categories to further enhance their reputation for offering the DIY market wide-rang- ing portfolio’s of DIY, building and construction products available. The Langlow STRIP AWAY range of paint removers introduces a re- branded version of the paint strippers, which previously had been promoted towards the profes- sional user under the Langlow Peel Away name. under the STRIP AWAY brand are presented in more eye-catching packaging, designed to appeal to a broader market share. Palace have also continued to develop their ex- tensive tiling products range with the introduction of the SHOWER- TIGHT waterproof tanking system, a protective membrane to be in- stalled prior to fixing tiles in showers and wet-room areas.
