ADVENTURES
Music makes my world go round. As I write this, I’m listening to the new Black Eyed Peas CD The
E.N.D. and the cheerful music puts me in the mood to take out a sexy outfit and hit the town in full
force. So on that note, musical and otherwise, what does July have to offer for our dancing shoes to
attend? Well let’s see, according to my agenda on my new Env-Touch cell phone, which I’m totally in
love with, there are more events this month than there are reality TV shows. On July 11 I’m heading
north to check out Miss Beyonce live at the Honda Center in Anaheim. I can’t wait to see Sasha
Fierce go wild on stage. Maybe I will learn some new moves. Of course the big event this month is
San Diego Pride weekend—July 18-19— two days of fun under the trees in the gorgeous Balboa
Park. I’ve already got all my wardrobe changes planned out for this year’s festivities, which will
honor the 40th Anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in New York and 40 years of Gay Pride.I’m going
to kick off Pride weekend at a house party thrown by some good friends. It will feature cute dancers,
great music and a fabulous spread of delicious food. I want to thank the hosts Ed and Michael for
the invite! As well, The Rage Monthly is one of the sponsors of Scandal’s Pride Closing Party at Club
Spin on Sunday, July 19. That’s going to be wild as the party starts at 6:00 p.m. and goes on until 6:00
a.m. The tickets are $15 until July 7, check out

Unfortunately there is no rest for the wicked and my busy agenda doesn’t end with Pride week-
end. You see, I’m a sucker for a guy in glasses, especially if a superman is behind him and I will get
my fill of comic geeks at Comic Con July 23-26. I might dress up in my She-Ra costume or as Wonder
Woman and pick up a couple of hot men of steel. The last thing on my agenda this month is to score
tickets to Wicked so if you’re cute and tall and have two tickets to see Wicked, send me an e-mail and
I’ll be your date! Wicked will be playing at the San Diego Civic Theater July 29 to August 30 you can’t
say I did not give you a heads up, so there is no excuse for missing it this time.
June Recap
The first month of the summer season was sizzling hot! On June 6 we had a launch party for the
Orange County/Los Angeles edition of The Rage Monthly. The event took place at The Derby, a brand

any tune you throw at them from oldies to current hits. The attendees had a special treat when
some of the ladies of the Real Housewives of Orange County showed up.
Yes that’s right, you may see me on an upcoming episode of the show. Maybe they will give me a
recurring role since from what I hear, there may be an opening coming up for the next season. Can
you imagine it? The night was absolutely fabulous and that same night we were able to celebrate
our O.C./L.A. editor’s birthday. Hopefully you will be able to see the event on the next season of the
show. Meanwhile, in San Diego the big event was the 2009 Nicky Awards at the Birch North Park
Theatre. I bought a special evening gown and the entire Rage Monthly family was there to mingle
with the whole community. It’s always great to be able to talk to so many familiar faces. We started
the evening with a great dinner at Hawthorns. Michael and David always put together an amazing
menu for the event and our table could not have been in a more perfect location on the patio where
we were able to say “hello” to everyone as they entered. I want to say thank you to everyone who

voted. We were honored to have won Outstanding Publication, and let’s just say that we celebrated
until the wee hours of the morning. To paraphrase Sally Field, you like us, you really, really, like us!
Speaking of honors, I have to tell you about the wonderful gift bestowed upon me by the Impe-
rial Court’s Queen Mother of the Americas, Empress Nicole. I was proclaimed an Imperial Highness
Daughter Princess Daisy de San Diego! Can you believe it? Every girl dreams of becoming a princess
one day and now I have a plaque to prove it. I guess that crown I’ve been wearing around the house
can now be worn in public. Now, all I have to do is find a prince or a frog to kiss!
Well, it’s time to take Ruby for a walk. Catch you later, alligators.
Smooches!
