t’s no secret that we hockey players love our kit! PUSH’s newest member of the team KIT MONKEY takes this to the extreme. He has never knowingly


coming out in the next edition of PUSH and KIT MONKEY has been working hard, foraging out the latest offerings from all the major players and also some new kids on the block. We have let him out of the enclosure


and given him a free rein to test everything from playing kit to base layers and over the subsequent issues he will be giving us his honest opinion on what to wear. This will come from giving each item a rigorous workout where no hem will be left untouched. We asked him how he was going to rate the kit and the reply of bananas was somewhat astonishing but not out of the blue. So each garment tested will be given a one-to-five rating in bananas, as we said, we have given him control! Next issue he looks at summer base layers for those of us playing in


summer leagues and festivals, this could be the difference of making it through the whole match or collapsing before the half time whistle in a pool of sweat.
