The Hockey Reyes Festival has


been running since 1949 – a year when Spain’s Club de Campo came out on top. The festival is an invitation only event for senior and junior men and women. This year teams from Canada, Russia, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Scotland and England made the trip and as you can imagine with teams like RC Polo and Club de Campo playing there was a dazzling display of exhibition hockey on view. One moment of magic

In the second half of Ladykillers’ final game three-time German Olympian Bjorn Emmerling dribbled the ball to the baseline of RC Polo’s circle after a break down the right, and was about 10 meters from the opposition’s left post.
