has the same family involvement but chairman Denys Shortt (right) has brought some welcome changes. For the first time the LKs have a sponsor – Denys has managed to persuade one of his business associates Gillette to sponsor the club. Denys has also added new team for 2011 – the LKs believe that they have enough wives and girlfriends to produce a new LK ladies team.

What is your day job? I am doing a marketing and communication internship at FC Barcelona, play for the hockey team, coach a women’s team and also coach football at a local school.
Why do you play for the Ladykillers? It is an opportunity to play social hockey with some of the biggest names in world hockey. We always have a great laugh, play some competitive hockey and make some great friends.
Who is your all time hockey hero? If I could combine Greg Nicol, Jimmy Wallis, and Stefan Saliger I think they would make a worthy all time hockey hero!
What advice would you give to someone starting hockey? Train hard and don’t give up!

What is your day job? Manage a company producing and distributing biscuits under children licences such as Hello Kitty or SpongeBob. Also assistant coach for Polo’s Men’s first team
Why do you play for the Ladykillers? It is great fun to play together with great players and better people that want to perform well while enjoying every part of the game, on and off the pitch. It also gives also the opportunity to catch up with old friends and former opponents.
