Two brothers’ childhood dream
”The creation of IMG Worlds of Adventure is the realisation of a shared childhood dream,” say brothers Ilyas and Mustafa Galadari, executive co-chairmen and owners of the Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari (IMG) Group,. “We would like to thank everyone who has been part of this epic journey. As the first international mega-themed park to open in the region, IMG Worlds of Adventure will further drive tourism whilst enabling the United Arab Emirates to achieve its vision of becoming the leading global leisure and entertainment destination. “ Situated within the City of Arabia off Dubai's arterial Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed
Road, IMG Worlds of Adventure is billed by its owners as the world’s largest indoor theme park, however Park World's own calculations suggest that at 1.5 million square feet venue (140,000 square-metres) is still not as big as Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, about an hour away at Yas Island, which features a 200,000 sq m roof. Both parks feature outdoor rollercoasters as well as their indoor attractions, one at IMG and three at Ferrari World. Whatever the bragging rights, visitors to IMG World of Adventure can choose from a
where guests must negotiate a maze of corridors and changing scenery, encountering all sorts of scary characters along the way. Then there's an based around our own Circumotion Theater. DS – I think they are over 20 attractions in total, and they are all pretty
special in their own way, even those that may be as simple as a round ride. An example would be an attraction using the Air Race ride system (from Zamperla), where the colour palette and music score when combined with the kinetic movement create a nice, fun experience. Certainly the Marvel attractions we are proud of, then there's the Velociraptor coaster (by Mack) that launches out of the Lost Valley and into the dessert; that's pretty exciting.

varied selection of attractions spread across four themed adventure zones. Guests enter via IMG Boulevard, which links the park to the adjacent Novo Cinemas. Here, as well as various food beverage and entertainment options they can check out the signature walk-through Haunted House. To the right sits the Marvel zone, to the left sits the Cartoon Network zone and located towards the back of the park is the Lost Valley. Entry to IMG Worlds of Adventure has been set at at AED 300 ($82/€73) for
adults and AED 250 for children. Ultimate Fast Track passes are available for an additional AED 195 with Fast Track 3 shots passes at AED 125. Annual passes purchased for AED 2,495 ($680/€605). Open 365 days a year, the park's ambitious target is to attract around 4.5 visits in its first 12 months of operation. If it achieves that, it would be busier than all existing theme parks, waterparks or FECs in the United Arab Emirates, and about 800,000 short of Dubai's popular Global Village event, which runs from November to April further along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.
