Wow! What a great time on Friday evening to start things off. Fun time going to The Fireplace for lunch on Saturday afternoon. A tremendous tour of the school later that afternoon. I espe- cially enjoyed meeting the current students and reliving some memories inside a building I spent so much time in from September 1961 to June 1965. The Mass was touching and very memorable. Bob Slipe’s homily was perfect. You could tell

he really gave a great deal of thought beforehand to the context of the entire weekend and the special relationship that we all had with the school and with each other. The awarding of the Golden Diplomas was a stroke of genius. I can tell you with certainty that I will not forget being called up to get my second Bergen Catholic diploma and the memory of all of us gathered to- gether on the altar. Another example of what made BC such a special place 50 years ago and today as well. The party at Bacari Grill was special too. It was leisurely enough so we all had a real chance

to mingle and reminisce and it was another example of how well the committee worked to- gether to ensure that we all had a meaningful time to catch up with each other.”
