Memorial Mass

hank you to Rev. Msgr. Tom Nydegger ’84 for celebrating the Memorial Mass for us this year. The Memorial Mass has become an annual event for many in our Bergen Catholic Commu-


nity. During the Mass the names of our deceased alumni are read and there is time to reflect on the memories that are instilled in our hearts of the good times we had with our deceased loved ones while they were here with us. After Mass we headed over to Bacari Grill for brunch (thank you John Amoratis ’77) to try and catch up with the friends we have made over the years.

“We would like to thank the BC Alumni Association once again for all the efforts in planning for and holding the Annual Alumni Memorial Mass and Brunch. It is a won- derful way to remember the deceased alumni including our son, Patrick ’03 as well as deceased teachers and family members. It was wonderful as always to talk to the other guests and share our family stories and the goings-on at BC. It makes us feel like we are in the presence of people who understand our loss. Patrick loved BC and we are always grateful for the opportunity to come back and experience the BC atmosphere.”
