11 New Staff Members Welcomed at BC
Bergen Catholic welcomed 11 new faculty and staff
members to the school to begin the 2015-2016 academic year. The new members of the BC community include: Fr. Colin Kay (Chaplain), Ms. Hanying Yan (Mandarin), Mr. Jeffry Fox (Math), Mr. Jordan Patton ’11 (Special Projects Coordinator & IT Services), Mr. Zachary
Mazouat (Art), Mrs. Mary Van Olden (Accounts Payable Manager), Mr. John Youssis (Spanish), Mr. Edward Cronin (Social Studies), Mrs. Jacklyn Rukaj (Director of Guidance), Ms. Stacey Samora (Math), and Mr. Luis Pena (Maintenance).
BC Enters Broadcast Partnership With Bleachers Beginning this September, Bergen Catholic entered
an exclusive broadcast partnership with Bleachers, a pro- fessional Internet streaming broadcast company. This joint venture has allowed Bergen Catholic to produce free live and on-demand HD video streaming broadcasts of various academic, athletic, and extracurricular school events over multiple technological platforms including computers, tablets, and mobile devices. In just two months, BC has already become the most popular and most watched school in the Bleachers network of schools throughout the nation, and has produced some of the most watched events in the company’s brief history. In addition to having each event streamed, select varsity sporting events have also included the play-by-play broadcasts courtesy of “The Voice of BC,” Dan Long ’03.
