including IMG Academy (Fla.) and St. Edward (Ohio). Victories against Paramus Catholic, DePaul Catholic in a nationally televised game on ESPNU, and St. Peter’s Prep helped BC secure a high seed for the Non-Public Group 4 playoffs. Jarrett Guarantano ’16, Frankie Feaster ’16, Gene Coleman ’16, Jevon Dunmore ’16, Korab Idrizi ’16, and Sal Mauro ’16 were some of the senior standouts during the regular season who helped lead BC to another league championship in the Big North United Division, regarded as the toughest football conference in America.

program clinched back- to-back league titles for the first time since the 1997 and 1998 seasons, after capturing a dra- matic 16-13 overtime victory at Crusader Sta- dium against St. Joseph Regional on October 24. The Crusaders once again faced one of the most daunting schedules in the entire nation in 2015, fac- ing several opponents ranked in the Top 25 in the nation

For the first time since 2013, the Bergen Catholic

soccer team claimed the Big North United Division championship, and did so outright as they dominated their league rivals with a potent offense and a suffocating defense all season long. The Crusaders were paced by the dynamic scoring duo of Miles Franklyn ’17 and Cole Bosch ’17, who terrorized opposing back lines this fall. Peter Berkanish ’16, Brian Masur ’16, Sotiri Econopouly ’16, Owen Kraft ’16, Giancarlo Gomes ’17, and Stephen Teitelbaum ’17 proved to be instrumental parts of the midfield and defensive units that helped produced several shutouts in front of goalie Nick Vafiadis ’18.
