Class of 1965 50-Year Reunion Weekend On October 16 and 17, the Class of 1965 held their
50th Reunion Weekend. A total of 38 Alumni from all over the country attended and were able to mingle, rem- inisce, and renew friendships developed over five decades ago. The weekend started with golf on Friday afternoon followed by cocktails in the evening at Hack- ensack Golf Club. Saturday’s activities included a tour of
the school expertly guided by current Crusaders, a 50-year Reunion Mass celebration in the chapel, fol- lowed by the awarding of 50-year Golden Diplomas. The Saturday night dinner was held at the Bacari Grill in Washington Township, where many old memories were shared. A truly wonderful weekend was experienced by all.
A special thank you is extended from Br. Brian Walsh and the Advancement/Alumni Office to the Class of 1965. The Class generously donated $36,500 (and climbing) to commemorate their reunion and generously gave back to Bergen Catholic to ensure that the BC students of today will form the bonds and memories that they so enjoyed reliving at their 50th Reunion.

smiles and hugs we observed among our classmates who made the effort to join us for our 50th. It was a magical few
days...the extended time period of ‘last time I saw you’ seemed irrelevant and questioning looks melted into warm embraces and stories of wonderful times together all those years ago. The event may be over but the ‘good vibrations’ we experienced are embedded in our memories, always available to be called on whenever a smile or good laugh is needed.”
