1 Founders Day Bell Ringing Mission San Juan Capistrano rings its historic bells at noon to honor the Mission’s reestablishment by Saint Junipero Serra on All Saint Day— 239 years ago. missionsjc.com.


5 San Juan Historical Society Bi-annual Meeting Join the Historical Society for this free event with presentations on the history of San Juan Capistrano. 21 Thanksgiving Food Drive San Juan Capistrano Rotarians

8 Bell Ringing for the Earthquake of 1812 Mission San Juan Capistrano rings its bells at 10 a.m. for the 203rd anniversary of the Earthquake of 1812 that destroyed the Great Stone Church. The ceremony honors the 40 people, mostly Native Americans, who died while attending mass when the church collapsed. missionsjc.com.
