CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
MEMBER BENEFITS
T
he San Juan Capistra- no Chamber of Com- merce is dedicated to creating, promoting and fostering a vibrant
local business environment where businesses can operate productively and profitably. In addition to hosting community- centric events, the Chamber of Commerce provides frequent networking and promotional opportunities for its members to meet and network with other local business leaders.
Nurture Your Business Networking: It’s the buzz.
Where do you start? A member- ship takes the guesswork out of networking and starts the relation- ship-development conversation. Each month, the chamber hosts an evening networking mixer with prominent local speak- ers where members help support local eateries while building their own businesses. The chamber also hosts a number of annual events including: The Vintage Food & Wine Festival, State of the City, Installation Dinner and Rodeo Week—bringing cham- ber and community members together.

When it comes to referrals— calls for which chamber staff receives thousands of annu- ally—only chamber members are recommended. Members are ex- clusively permitted to display their brochures, fliers, business cards and collateral in the chamber office and at chamber events. The chamber’s mailing list is available as well to members to promote businesses amongst one another. Members can receive bi-monthly emails to keep them up-to-date on local issues, events and cham- ber happenings. The chamber staff is also avail- able to help you showcase your
business with ribbon cutting, opening and grand re-opening ceremonies. These events are posted on
sanjuanchamber.com and featured in bi-monthly mem- ber emails. Attendees of these ceremonies often include the mayor, city officials and cham- ber board members—another vital way the chamber promotes networking and a strong business community.
Support a Growing Local Economy
