The Woolpack Inn is a historic and well-loved pub in the village of Slad near Stroud.
We are currently looking for a competent
CHEF DE PARTIE AND
SOUS CHEF
to join our kitchen team on a four days on three days off basis. The candidates must have the following qualities: • A genuine passion for food and understanding of seasonality.
CLUBHOUSE MANAGER – Live in Position
The Leicestershire Golf Club is a traditional but forward thinking, proactive private members golf club established in 1890 in a thriving residential area on the outskirts of Leicester.
We are seeking a full time person to manage the day to day running of the clubhouse and bar facilities with the opportunity for a full or part time position for their partner in either the bar or catering areas.
The successful candidate will have catering background and be responsible for provision of all bar service including ordering, rotas and cellar management and if necessary will assist with catering. You will be responsible for the daily opening, closing and security of the clubhouse and its facilities. This is a live in position which requires knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and you will be the designated Premises Supervisor for the Club, hold a Food Hygiene Certificate and hold a Personal Licence.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellent customer service, communication and staff management skills and have experience in a similar environment. You will be hands on and have a flexible approach to working hours and will liaise with the Secretary /Catering staff to ensure that the facilities are run smoothly and efficiently.
A competitive remuneration package includes self-contained unfurnished three bedroom accommodation.

Due to the expansion of the Estates Management Business, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Catering Compliance Manager.
Salary £35,000, depending on experience

Reporting to the Director of Catering, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Catering on Assisted Living Developments. The role will cover a geographical area from East Midlands to East Anglia, so the successful candidate would ideally live close to the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border and close to transport links.
Experience of managing Catering establishments in a Social Care setting, tendering, negotiating contracts and monitoring finances is essential, as is an excellent knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety Regulations. The successful candidate must also have excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office. The candidate will be expected to travel extensively as part of the role.
The candidate will be educated to degree level and preferably have a professional qualification with relevant experience in Contract Catering Management.
