The best of Irish
The Dingle peninsula sits on the westernmost tip of Ireland and is famous for its dramatic scenery, surrounding the streets of the town of Dingle, where many pubs double up as shops and tourists and movie stars visit to soak up the local history, gastronomy and creative charm.
Dingle remains ‘traditionally Irish’ as part of a Gaeltacht region, where the survival of the Irish language, culture and traditions are preserved, and the renowned annual Dingle Food Festival plays to these strengths by providing a stage for the best, locally produced Irish food, including cheese, butter and cider. Building on this wealth of local knowledge, Kerrymaid provides a complete range of dairy ingredients with the professional chef in mind. This year, Kerrymaid is organising ‘A Dingle Tour’ and taking one lucky reader of The Caterer.
