“TOYOTA has such a strong reputation and history in rally; it’s a great honour to be selected to be part of their return to WRC. My target is to learn as much as possible because I am still early in my rally career. I’m looking forward to working alongside Stéphane, Sebastian and Eric.”

Status: Single WRC debut: 2014
TOYOTA Motorsport GmbH has unveiled a new junior driver development scheme which aims to reveal future WRC stars. France’s Eric Camilli and Finland’s Teemu Suninen are the first beneficiaries of the new initiative, which follows TMG’s long- standing commitment to young drivers. The team’s former F1 driver and current WEC Test and Reserve Driver Kamui Kobayashi is arguably the highest profile racer to have been through a TMG young driver programme.
TMG has selected ORECA as its partner in the junior driver development scheme. ORECA will run WRC2 and WRC3 entries for both Camilli and Suninen at selected events in 2015, while the duo will concurrently play an integral role in development of the Yaris WRC alongside Stéphane Sarrazin and Sebastian Lindholm.
The programme also aims to develop the drivers’ existing skills in terms of personal fitness, communications, media relations and team-work.
Rallying highlights: Winner in WRC3 2014 Rally Finland
Fourth place in Finnish Rally Championship (one win)
