In 2015: Nürburgring will host a round of the re-born World Endurance Championship for the first time this year. With a long tradition of endurance tests, the famous track will now set the stage for another thrilling battle of world leading hybrid technology and driving skill. It will be a big event for TOYOTA Racing with the circuit located just one hour from the team’s base in Cologne.

Americas Race Date: 19 September 2015 Circuit Length: 5.515km Number of Corners: 20 (9 right, 11 left) Longest Straight: 1,207m
In 2014: A dramatic Six Hours of Circuit of The Americas saw the team net another podium but miss out on victory. Heavy rain early in the race caused chaos and demanded another impressive recovery drive for the #8 car, which had claimed pole position by a stunning margin. The #7 ran as high as second but was forced to settle for sixth.

In 2014: TOYOTA Racing scored a 1-2 victory in front of a jubilant Japanese crowd in last year’s Six Hours of Fuji. It marked the team’s third consecutive Fuji win in an unbeaten run on home soil. Anthony and Sébastien, at the wheel of the #8 TS040 HYBRID, extended their championship lead with a fine win. In a fitting end to the race, the #7, the winning car in Fuji for two seasons in a row, finished close behind in second.
30 08 6 Hours of Bahrain
Race Date: 21 November 2015 Circuit Length: 5.412km Number of Corners: 15 (9 right, 6 left) Longest Straight: 1,090m
In 2014: Anthony and Sébastien overcame an alternator problem to finish 11th but it was enough to see the pair secure the Drivers’ World Championship with one race of the season left to contest. The result marked the first TOYOTA Drivers’ World Championship title in twenty years. There was more jubilation in the team as the #7 TS040 HYBRID of Alex, Stéphane and Mike won its first race of the year after a fine performance by the trio in a dramatic event. As TOYOTA Racing’s fifth victory of the season this set the team up for an eventual Manufacturers’ title at the season finale.

07 6 Hours of Shanghai
Race Date: 1 November 2015 Circuit Length: 5.451km Number of Corners: 16 (9 right, 7 left) Longest Straight: 1,175m
In 2014: TOYOTA Racing took its third 1-2 victory of the season, and second in succession, with an impressive performance in Shanghai. Car #8 missed out on pole position by the narrowest of margins but ran a faultless race to finish more than a lap ahead of the #7 crew. Apart from a small sensor issue on car #7 early in the race, both TS040 HYBRIDs were untouchable as the battle for the championship intensified.
