NPE 2015 | exhibition preview MB Conveyors Booth S22125

Italian company MB Conveyors is exhibiting for the first time at NPE this year and will show a selection of equipment from its range, including belt conveyors, sprue separators, and storage devices. The company – which manufactures more than 4,000 conveyors each year - will demonstrate three different sprue-separation applica- tions, each designed to show how collection transport, selection and storage of moulded parts can be optimised for specific production requirements. New for the show is a custom conveyor equipped with PC guards and designed for operation in combination with robotic arms. ❙ www.mbconveyors.com

Masterduct Booth S32189

Masterduct, the US subsidiary of Germany’s Masterflex Group, will show its new Master-PUR hose, a spiral- type food grade and flame retardant hose designed for powder and granule handling applications where static must be controlled. Master-PUR products offer a surface resistance of R0

>109 and feature a seamless

smooth and abrasion resistant inner lining. The company will also exhibit its Master-SIL 2 hose, a

lightweight and flexible hose offering high temperature and chemical resistance. The company says it is well suited for extraction of warm air from plastic dryers. ❙ www.masterduct.com

Moretto Booth W7371

The centrepiece of the Moretto display at NPE will be the Italian company’s Eureka resin drying technology, which can be configured to process up to 12,000 kg/h of engineering plastics using more than 50% less energy than competing systems. Latest developments to the core system components include a new energy-saving multi-stage blower for the core X-Max zeolite dryer and optimised airflow management on the OTX hopper thermal exchange units. ❙ www.moretto.com

Ranger Automation Booth W2437

US-based Ranger Automation will be showing its RTA robots at NPE. According to the company, the RTA models are designed to provide high performance at a low price, including features such as dual pressure circuits, two vacuum circuits with confirmation sensors, and tool-less end-of-arm tooling changeover as standard. Five models are available in the RTA range, covering injection machines from 50 to 1,500 tonnes. The company will also display its Ultra-Compact

robot, which provides an automation solution where overhead clearance is limited. The robots use a triple-stage vertical axis that saves space and also allows removal speeds to be increased by up to 50% over a conventional robot. Ultra-Compact models are offered in 3-axis to 6-axis versions. Visitors will also be able to try out Ranger’s latest

teach pendant. The GT1455 is now standard on all of the company’s robots and includes a quick teach mode, conditional ‘IF-THEN’ programming, Ethernet commu- nication and USB port. It also offers a Cycle Match routing function that automatically adjusts robot speeds to suit the moulding cycle. ❙ www.rangerautomation.com

Motan-Colortonic Booth W3315 Motan-Colortronic will present its new Metro G range of material loaders, which are designed to reduce waste and increase productivity. The modular building block approach to the Metro G range allows

users to configure

and create the optimal material loader for any application. For example, a standard

loader unit can be upgraded to a clean room version simply by adding the special vacuum dia-

phragm valve. Dust removal modules can be added to all Metro G

range loaders for processing critical engineering plastics. A tangential material inlet is also offered to provide a cyclone effect for processing materials where more coarse dust separation is required. The new loaders can work in conjunction with the company’s compact Metrolink material selection, which allows a maximum of 32 processing machines to be fed with up to 16 different materials. ❙ www.motan.com/us
