FIND THE BEST OF BRITISH IN ORLANDO

You might already know some of its members, but this month for the first time ever the British trade association ALES-UK will host its own booth (#3684) at IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando. Check them out – you might be surprised at what a varied range of products and services they provide

epresenting more than 60 British companies supplying theme parks, amusement, parks, waterparks, family entertainment centres, play centres, farm attractions, zoos, aquariums and other visitor attractions, ALES-UK's members are a creative and practical group that draw on a rich cultural history of innovation and creativity. Founded in 2004, the Amusement & Leisure Equipment Suppliers of the United Kingdom is the only industry trade association that purely represents the country’s manufacturers and suppliers within the sector. From 3D movies and motion theatres to amusement rides, inflatables, theming companies, designers and ticketing suppliers, ALES-UK is the “one stop shop” for creating your next park or attraction experience. The association is an accredited trade organisation working closely with the UK government's Trade & Investment team (UKTI). The two organisations continue to work together effectively in order to support UK companies in their export goals and help exporters reach the right markets worldwide. “Through the government’s Tradeshow Access Programme (TAP) we helped facilitate over 60 grants in 2014 to help fund exhibition stands and overseas conference facilities,” notes ALES-UK chairman Tony Whittaker. “This enables those eligible UK companies to promote their goods and services to worldwide trade audiences including such iconic exhibitions as IAAPA Attractions Expo and also those in emerging and high growth markets such as India, Russia and the UAE, all of which will be attended again by our members in 2015.” ALES-UK already enjoys strong relations with other international trade associations including IAAPA, RAPPA (Russia), IAAPI (India) and also the team behind the DEAL show in Dubai. In Orlando, the ALES team will showcase its membership, providing brochures and a meeting area with

refreshment facilities. This will ensure visitors to the stand can fully appreciate the vast array of products and services available to the industry from UK providers. The booth will also include a dedicated meeting area available for use by all UK companies attending, whether or not they have their own booth at the exhibition. One of ALES’ objectives over the next 12 months is to grow its membership, giving support to newly exporting UK enterprises so that they can learn how to use exhibitions as a key tool in their development plan and at the same time keep the industry up to date with the latest products and services.

Those stopping by booth #3684 at IAAPA are likely to benefit from the membership’s knowledge, expertise, innovation, pricing and after- sales service – plus the guarantee of UK quality as standard.
