On location in the Cook Islands
Christine Power, Destinology: “From start
to fi nish this was a wonderful trip to a wonderful destination. This educational was both informative and really enjoyable. The perfect combination."
Amy Cooper, Turquoise Travel: 'The Cook
Islands are perfect for independent travellers. It's easy to hire a car, buy a picnic and set off to explore for the day. Equally, if you are after more facilities then there are some beautiful resorts with everything on the doorstep. My top tip for the Cook Islands is to talk to the locals. Everyone is so friendly and they all have such interesting tales to tell!"
Aiden Pinder, Dial-A- Flight: "The Cook
Islands are just awesome with great activities visitors may not expect, like quad-biking."
Vicki Moss, Austravel: "I was really impressed
with the standard and variety of accommodation. There is something to suit every taste and budget. There are some lovely properties for the family market with small kitchenettes and some really romantic places perfect for
honeymooners." OCEAN Marketing took two
groups of agents out to the Cook Islands to experience a little piece of heaven for themselves. In a jam-packed, full-of-fun itinerary the groups stayed on the main island of Rarotonga and on the idyllic island of Aitutaki. Hotel inspections were all at a leisurely pace – there is no need to rush in the Cooks! – and the agents discovered the breadth of accommodation on offer. They were also bowled over by
the range of available activities and experienced fi rst-hand some of the islands' most popular attractions and products.

UKMANAGER@COOKISLANDS.TRAVEL Activities included an island
safari tour, a lagoon cruise, a cycling tour or a jungle quad adventure tour, time at the local markets, and a cultural dinner and show. There was also time for a pub crawl – Cooks style. The lagoon cruise in Aitutaki was
a highlight for everybody, as was the jeep safari in Rarotonga. Pictured above (main image) are:
