St Lucia celebrates SAINT LUCIA SHOWCASE last month saw 54 key UK tour operators and agents meet with the
Saint Lucia Tourist Board and representatives from the island's hotels, DMCs and airlines. Guest of honour was Saint Lucia's Prime Minister, Dr Kenny D Anthony, who told the trade: “Without your confidence in Saint Lucia's products we would not have year-on-year growth in UK arrivals.” He also revealed that a private operator had been asked to develop and operate a new airport. The Saint Lucia Gala Awards also took place, with Caribtours, Tropical Sky and Thomas Cook among the winners.
The Rice Bucket challenge!
CARIBTOURS hosted a black tie awards night at London's Claridge's Hotel at which 200 key independent agents enjoyed a champagne reception and three-course meal.
