The extensive range of compressed airline equipment manufactured by Hi-line Industries has been extended to include filter element housings with 1/4” BSP connections. These products complement their existing wide range of aluminium filter housing with connection sizes now covering from 1/4” up to 4” BSP, offering a throughput flow range from 20 up to 1700 cfm. For larger flow rate patterns a range of flanged steel filter housings can be supplied for flow rates up to 15,000 cfm. The latest 1/4” BSP additions HF20 and
HF22 feature a robust die cast construction in high grade aluminium. They incorporate an overall Alu-Chrome treatment which provides corrosion protection against aggressive condensates. The outer surface is subject to a tough baked-on epoxy coating in RAL 5015 Compressed Air Blue. For OEM requirements this final coating
can be undertaken in any colour. The cost of Hi-line housings and filter element assemblies are said to be competitive, often being less than replacement filter elements only when sourced from other supplies. HF20 and HF22 products are fitted with a stainless steel condensate drain, upgraded from
LEAK DETECTION
Small leaks can make up a large part of the costs for compressed air. With the small and easily operable METPOINT LKD leaks in the system can be detected within a short time. It detects the ultrasound, transforms it into an audible sound and indicates it optically. Operating with extreme reliability as only those frequencies are detected which occur in the event of leakage, precise location of the leaks is ensured under all types of industrial noise conditions.
