BODYHOLIDAY LAUNCHES BODYSCIENCE PROGRAMME
The BodyHoliday resort in Saint Lucia is launching what it claims is a groundbreaking wellness programme called BodyScience. BodyScience combines DNA testing with the
preventative Eastern approach to wellbeing to create personalised fitness regimes. Ahead of arrival, guests are asked to provide a series of home-based tests and DNA samples, and answers to a questionnaire. On arrival, they receive a consultation with
BodyHoliday’s Ayurvedic doctor, who assesses their heart rate, blood pressure, the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, cardio and arterial fitness. The doctor also checks body fat and lung capacity, carries out 3D heart mapping and uses iridology. These establish the patient’s body type – whether they are a natural endurance runner, sprinter or weightlifter for example – to ensure they exercise to their full potential and avoid potential injuries. BodyScience also clarifies specific food types that are good and bad for the guest, leading to a nutrition plan to combat ailments and avoid future ones. Guests can start their meal plan immediately. The hotel’s own wellness chef cooks personalised dishes to be served at any of the hotel’s restaurants at any time, allowing families or friends to enjoy their holiday without any constraints on where they can eat. BodyScience, which launches this month, starts
from $3,000, exclusive of the stay at BodyHoliday.

REGENT OFFERS UNLIMITED WEB ACCESS IN TOP SUITES
Regent Seven Seas Cruises is to include unlimited internet access in its all-inclusive offering. From January 1, guests booked in the line’s top suites – Master, Grand, Seven Seas, Horizon, Mariner, Navigator and Voyager suites – will enjoy free access throughout their cruise in all public spaces and suites. The move coincides with the completion of a multimillion-dollar upgrade of internet systems that has expanded connectivity on all Regent ships. Managing director Graham Sadler said: “By introducing the industry’s only unlimited complimentary internet programme we continue to fulfil our promise to deliver the most-inclusive experience available, at sea or on land.” Members of the Seven Seas Society, Regent’s loyalty programme, who are gold status or higher will continue to receive unlimited complimentary internet
access on board, regardless of suite selection.
