Taber Holidays has introduced a four-night Sweden break called The Lapland Indulgence. Included is a holistic spa experience in the Ripan Spa with treatments including an aromatic coffee scrub for the face and hands, a footbath of juniper, salt and lemon, an exfoliating body scrub of newly sprouted birch leaves and soothing pine-scented body oil. The products, which all come in a spa bucket, are made from natural ingredients, completely free of preservatives, and are based on ancient Swedish, Sami and Torne Valley medicinal knowledge. NEW ST ERMIN’S HOTEL CREATES BUZZ
St Ermin’s Hotel in London has created a hotel for bees. Designed by the hotel’s expert beekeeper, Camilla Goddard, the new hotel provides a home for a wide variety of bee species. It is made up of bamboo nesting areas and condominiums for solitary bees such as the leaf-cutter bee, while the bijou boxes are for social bees such as the tree bumblebee. The bee hotel also provides a variety of special areas for other helpful insects. The lacewing will apparently enjoy the rolled cardboard swirls, while ladybirds, earwigs, woodlice and spiders will find peaceful resting places. Beekeeping workshops are available from £25, or £259 if your client
wants to stay at the hotel as well.

Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve in South Africa’s Kruger National Park has created a new wellness programme. The aim of Safari for the Soul is for guests to feel totally relaxed and take more time over their trip. At Earth Lodge, a range of authentic treatments and rituals have been put together and guests are encouraged to sleep in at least one morning before enjoying a late morning bush walk as an alternative to the sunrise wake-up call. The new glass-fronted gym offers views of the landscape as well as the usual
machines, treadmills, bikes, weights and mats.

ITC OPENS FIRST FIVE-STAR RETREAT
