DISTRICT 3 — CENTRAL OKLAHOMA Panel Gates Cut From Hinges Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association


(TSCRA) Special Ranger Kent Dowell reports that some- time in January a thief or thieves stole 7 panel gates from a property near Castle in Okfuskee County, Okla. The gates were cut from the hinges with a saw.


6 Cows, Calves Exit Through Downed Fence Dowell reports that due to a downed fence on Feb. 10, 6


head of cattle are missing from a property near Okemah in Okfuskee County. The cattle are described as 3 cows and 3 calves.


3 Stocker Cattle Missing in Johnston County Dowell reports a theft of 3 head of cattle from a prop-


erty near Mannsville, Okla., in Johnston County on Feb. 24. A thief or thieves cut a chain on an entry gate to steal 3 head of 600-pound stocker cattle with a Diamond C and 4C brand on the left hip. They also had tags in their left ear.


Black Stocker Calf Missing From Kiowa Dowell reports a black stocker calf went missing from


a property in Kiowa County on March 24. The calf has a T- into-J brand on the left hip and a full V notch on the bottom left ear.


Polaris Missing From Okmulgee On March 27, a thief or thieves drove through an open


gate to steal a 2012 side-by-side Polaris sport utility, re- ports Dowell.


Panel Gates, Cattle Missing in Oklahoma Dowell reports the theft of 7 panel gates and 6 head of

DISTRICT 4 — OKLAHOMA Angus Bull Calf Taken From Vinita Pasture TSCRA Special Ranger Bart Perrier reports the theft


of an Angus bull calf from a property near Vinita in Craig County, Okla., between March 17 and 19. The black calf had green ear tags in both ears with the number 2901. The thief or thieves had tampered with a portion of the 5-strand barbed wire fence. The wire clips had been removed and the center 3 wires were expanded, then the clips were re- attached. DISTRICT 5 — OKLAHOMA Trailer Stolen at Beggs Ranch Sorting TSCRA Special Ranger John Cummings reports the


theft of a gooseneck trailer from a parking lot in Beggs, Ok- mulgee County, Okla. On March 8, a 2010 EBY Wrangler 24- foot aluminum gooseneck stock trailer with punched sides, VIN# 4A2LG2523A3002700, was taken from a ranch sort- ing event. Each side of the trailer’s nose had a large black silhouette cutout of a steer with the letters “WGL” cut out. The suspect vehicle is a white regular-cab dually pickup. DISTRICT 13 — EAST TEXAS Gate Chain Cut to Steal First-Calf Heifer TSCRA Special Ranger Larry Hand reports the theft of


a heifer from a property east of Timpson in Shelby County. On or about Feb. 20, a lock and chain were cut to steal 1 gray heifer with a softball-sized dark spot on her left side, weighing approximately 750 pounds and heavy springing with her fi rst calf.
