How I got started: I started skating as an after- school activity at age 6. I was a bit scared and was not even sure I would like it. After only a month, I was in love with the sport.


Memorable moment: When I got to meet Kristi Yamaguchi


What else you should know about me: I play tennis and I am part of a synchronized skating team.

How I got started: I was 4 years old and my babysitter took us to a freestyle session. One of the coaches came up to me and said she wanted to teach me. I’ve been skating ever since and I love it.


Memorable moments: Landing a clean Axel for the first time. Performing a clean program and getting second at the nonqualifying regional competition to make it to the final. Seeing my 5-year-old sister, Rachel, win two gold medals in a basic moves competition.


Favorite moves: Double Salchow, double loop, Sasha Cohen spin
