A high proportion of this growth has been in the healthcare sector. Since taking over Minster’s established Norfolk and Suffolk territory in September 2011, former banker Kevin Lawley has doubled turnover at the branch by following his business plan: “I have a very clearly defined set of objectives and I measure our actual performance against my plan monthly. I’ve had to keep revising my objectives upwards which is great for the confidence – I had a three-year plan at the outset and managed to hit my year three objective at the end of year two. My revised objective is to increase turnover to over £1million by the end of my third year.”
