s a company renowned for its innovation, Mimaki continues to develop new print solutions for a
broad array of market sectors. Uptake of the new Mimaki JV400-SUV
printer is expected to remain high, with its unique high gloss finish and extremely durable print. Its instant dry nature enables print providers to turn jobs around far faster than alternative technologies, and this is a factor we anticipate to increase in 2014. Looking at the ‘out of the door’ time
more than the ‘print time’ bears a closer resemblance to the demands print providers have put on them, so the
ability to finish and pack a print job rapidly can be very important. Mimaki’s ink technologies stretch
across the whole gamut of digital solutions and with textile printing and UK based manufacturing being more and more prevalent, machines to deliver this will be seen in the early part of the year. The ability to increase short runs to
relatively high volumes, to take complete control of QC and to enable fast time to market puts UK and Irish manufacturing in the box seat and Mimaki’s textile printers are already becoming a mainstay in the fashion and sportswear sectors.
